For more than 20 years, Produits forestiers Basques has been making 100% natural hardwood charcoal. Our plant is situated just east of Rivière-du-Loup along the St-Lawrence River. We are a division of Le Groupe Félix Huard, a hardwood lumber company based in Luceville in Eastern Québec.

BASQUES HARDWOOD CHARCOAL is made only with limbs and logs which are unfit for sawmills. We do not use any scrap lumber / pallet - which may contain pollutants.

BASQUES HARDWOOD CHARCOAL is used by many fine grilling restaurants across eastern North America. We also carry a few private labels including our own, BASQUES HARDWOOD CHARCOAL. Our product is also used for metallurgy, such as copper smelters, and horticulture in soil mixes.
